Eric & Ai Wa Wedding Ceremony

Image
Eric, my friend and two-time ex-colleague got married last month, and I was honoured to be the main photographer to cover his wedding. Out of the typical Chinese wedding, here's some shots that I like. This was taken when Eric help Ai Wa remove her hair pins. Grabbing the gown as she walks around, this shot indicates that the bride is ready with her makeup and are walking about. This shot taken through the house entrance to the living room, the sisters are having a discussion on how to tackle the groom and the brothers when they arrive later. Happy with the negotiations, one sister shows me the "contract" agreed by Eric, signed with his kiss, as the other sisters opens the front gate and let Eric and the brother

We went to Bukit Melawati after our lunch break. Nothing interesting there: a small museum, lots of monkeys, and a light house (yes, that's why we were there). The sun was harsh, but luckily there's enough clouds as background to spice up the photos. High lighthouse , originally uploaded by Ho Swee Ching . Finally made a trip to Sekinchang at Selangor to take some photographs of the paddy fields. Following are some of the best shots of the day, taken around 10am. Would've taken more photos if wasn't for the extremely hot weather. Have to remind myself to come earlier next time to avoid the late-morning sun.
