Street Photography with Panasonic LX3
It's been 4 months since I sold my DSLR, Nikon D300. Although without it, I'm finding myself shooting even more photos now than before with my Panasonic LX3. Finally, I'm doing what I suppose to be doing, enjoying photography and capturing more photos on my friends and family. Overall, this transition has been going well for me.
On top of that, I've been bringing this camera around Kuala Lumpur on a few occasion for some street photography, together with my photography buff friends, just for fun. Two main area that we visited is around Petaling Street, the other is at Pudu. It's definitely more suited for the job, as it's small and being able to be discrete.
Below are some of the shots that I like taken at Petaling Street area.

Busy crossing at Jalan Tun Perak during rush hour, where people crosses the road when car stops due to traffic jams.

Lots of nice Grafitti can be found along the klang river in KL. This particular show is taken from the Pasar Seni LRT station. Standard of grafitti has increased since my schooling days.

Florist preparing the flowers for delivery, near Petaling Street.

Entrance of a temple near Petaling Street.

Lots of smoke from the burning inscent at the temple entrance.

Discreetly shot this fella lepaking at the Masjid Jamek LRT entrance.

Nice foliage at KTM station.

Old, deserted KTM station.
These following shots were taken around Pudu.

Jeff taking a peek into the shop from the back.

An interesting opening inside the abandoned shop hous,e which provided ample sunlight for this shot. Sorry, didn't hire any lady models.

The front of the abandoned shop.

Hard working taxi uncle cleaning up his taxi beside the abandoned shop in Pudu.

Pudu has a lot of printing business running. We see lots of shops with printing machines running. This shot here we can see the experienced uncle operating the printing machine with both his hands and feet.

Barber shop owner just finish washing the front road of her shop.

A junction at Jalan Pudu.

This poor puppy at a small back lane is yearning for attention.
